Hello Saturday

Today I woke up extremely early (5:00 thanks to Miss Marple), and laid awake, tossing and turning for half an hour before decided I may as well get up.

It’s raining (beautiful sound) and I have a nice cup of tea, at this moment, I am content. Waking up super early is sometimes a good thing; I’ve been able to spend the morning doing lazy things I would not normally find time for on a busy Saturday.

As of tomorrow I am required to spend six long and exhausting days in Sydney doing my Intensive Study Period for my Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies. When I think about how much work it involves, I cringe and want the week to be finished already! If no-one hears from me all week, I assure you I have not fallen off the face of the earth (as much as I would like to), the schedule is such that I won’t be able to work or teach or socialise at all!

xx Alisa

Time for Tea

A proper tea is much nicer than a very nearly tea,
which is one you forget about afterwards

Happy Twenty Four

This Friday a very beautiful friend turns 24 (oh so close to 25!) and I believe a Sunday picnic is in order... thoughts please?

Fiona, I realise that Sunday is your 'rest day' (you old Grandma), but I do think it's about time we all got together, and your birthday is such a fabulously convenient excuse!

... I promise to bring cake!

Blog: Take 2

How quickly we get sucked into the things we try to avoid!

My first blog, amour chaque jour was made rather reluctantly, in order to keep everyone up to date while I travelled Europe. I say reluctantly, because I’m a firm believer in hand written letters and journals.

It was hard to find time to post while overseas, I did however, enjoy writing on the blog and sharing the pictures from our amazing time abroad.

I therefore, with much less reluctance, create this new blog…eventually to be full of all the fabulous things that make up my life... you may also be subject to all the beautiful things I happen to be lusting after (and sadly cannot afford).
